About The Summit

Where 2,000 young leaders become one global delegation.

The Jaipur Global Heritage Summit (JGHS) 2026 is a four-day international youth convening that brings together over 2,000 student delegates from across India — alongside invited delegations from partner countries — into a single, unforgettable stage in the Pink City. It is conceived as India's largest student-led summit of its kind: a place where diplomacy, technology, entrepreneurship and culture share the same campus, the same week, and the same spirit.

JGHS is built around four marquee tracks — a Model United Nations, a 36-hour Hackathon, a Startup Pitch Arena, and a series of Global Talk Sessions — so that every kind of changemaker, the diplomat, the builder, the founder, the thinker, finds a room built for them. With a registration fee of just ₹100 and a prize pool of ₹5,00,000, the Summit is designed to be radically accessible and seriously competitive at once.

Our Theme

Global, come to Jaipur's heritage.

JGHS 2026 is built on a simple conviction: the future is global, but it should be grounded somewhere real. Jaipur — a UNESCO World Heritage City, the royal capital of Rajasthan, and one of the few planned cities of its age anywhere on Earth — is that ground. The theme invites the world to step out of generic convention halls and into a city of pink sandstone forts, latticed jharokha windows, and three centuries of living craft, design and diplomacy.

Every element of the Summit experience is designed around this meeting point of old and new: heritage walks and cultural evenings sit alongside hackathon sprints and startup pitches; MUN committee rooms borrow the formality of royal courts; and global delegates leave not just with a trophy or a network, but with a city in their memory. Global ambition, Rajasthani roots — that is the JGHS theme in one line.

The Summit Experience

Four tracks. One stage.

Track 01

Jaipur Global MUN

Diplomacy

A multi-committee Model United Nations simulating real-world crises and negotiations, chaired by experienced Secretariat members and open to delegations from across India and partner countries abroad.

Who it's for: Debaters, policy enthusiasts, aspiring diplomats and student leaders.

Track 02

36-Hour Hackathon

Build

A non-stop, 36-hour build sprint across themes like climate, civic-tech, AI and heritage-tech, supported by mentors, sponsor tech tracks, and a judged demo day in front of industry juries.

Who it's for: Coders, designers, product thinkers and first-time builders alike.

Track 03

Startup Pitch Arena

Pitch

Early-stage student and youth founders pitch live to a panel of investors, angels and corporate partners for funding, mentorship and the chance to be crowned JGHS's flagship startup of the year.

Who it's for: Student entrepreneurs and young founders with a working idea or MVP.

Track 04

Global Talk Sessions

Inspire

Keynotes, fireside chats and masterclasses with diplomats, founders, policymakers and creators from India and abroad — running in parallel across all four days of the Summit.

Who it's for: Every delegate, across every track, every day.

The Backdrop

Why Jaipur

Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur was one of the first deliberately planned cities in India, laid out on principles of Vastu Shastra and classical town planning. The Walled City of Jaipur was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019, recognised for its urban planning, architecture and living commercial culture — making it not just a beautiful setting, but a genuine case study in design, governance and civic life for visiting delegates.

Delegates arriving for JGHS 2026 will be minutes from icons such as Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Amber Fort, with optional heritage walks and cultural evenings woven into the Summit schedule. Final venue partners will be announced closer to the date.

At a glance

  • UNESCO World Heritage City — the Walled City of Jaipur (inscribed 2019)
  • Well connected via Jaipur International Airport and major rail and road links
  • A living craft economy — block printing, gemstones, textiles and architecture
  • A growing convention and innovation hub, having hosted major national summits
